HubbIT is a B2B mobile application developed by the innovation group in Georgia Pacific. The objective of the application is to streamline the bidding and purchase process of material between suppliers and buyers. The application intends to eliminate the paper-intensive process and replace it with a technology-driven streamlined approach, in turn generating more revenue and reduced operational costs. IntuitioLabs was brought in as a product partner to review the existing product, provide product design consultation and provide a mechanism to measure performance and potential for improvement in the application.

- Mixpanel implementation
IntutioLabs designed the KPIs to measure the customer journey of users of the applications. Once these were designed, IntuitioLabs then implemented Mixpanel analytics and created easy-to-use dashboards for business owners to measure in real-time the performance of their application. IntuitioLabs further went on to create content-management-driven product tours and FAQs to improve the adoption and engagement of the Hubbit mobile application.

Video Product Tour
One key problem with adoption was identified to be a lack of clarity on how to use different features in the application. We implemented a short video product tour on first login as a solution. A CMS driven FAQ page, which would allow for no-code updates, was also implemented.
Video Product Tour
Users are required to watch a video product tour on first login. After a certain duration for each step the user is given an option to skip the step. The user can also access the video tour at any time while using the application.
The application is a feature-rich product catering to multiple types of users. The video product tour, with help of animations, draws users’ attention to the most commonly used set of features.
New users are required to watch the product tour on first login. The UI for the tour was designed to ensure users do not feel captive. Ui indicates time left on each step and, after a certain amount of time for each step, allows the user to go to the next step.
Defining and tracking product analytics
Pivotal reports that indicate the health of the product – like engagement, users, orders and conversions – were designed for the product. Once approved, all the analytics and tracking were implemented using segment and Mixpanel. Dashboards were then created for business users to enable them to interact with their real-time product data.
Intuito Labs designed the KPIs to track our customers’ journeys and created easy-to-use dashboards to measure real-time performance of the app. They even built a product tour and FAQs that helped improve adoption of our mobile app.
Our team was impressed with how easy they were to work with. That’s not always the case with offshore teams, but Intuito Labs’ folks were responsive, great with communication, and always flexible when we needed to change gears quickly. We’re really happy with our new app, adoption is up, and our whole experience with Intuito Labs was really pleasant. Highly recommended. “

The client highly valued our product insights, our speed of execution, our responsiveness, and our flexibility during our engagement. The CMS-driven architecture we implemented accelerated the time it took for making content updates, saving time and money for the GP innovation team. The analytics built led to key insights which further aided the evolution of the product.
